Me and some friends are headed to this place on Friday. Looking forward to it!

Yes, "Pickles" I was there that night too, and while some patrons took it upon themselves to light up, I did notice your obscene foul complaining. Again, while you had a point, I did notice you had consumed quite a few drinks however totally ignored the "I'm too intoxicated to drive" law, otherwise known as witnessing a DUI. Maybe the owner should keep track of that too. His staff has always been proactive with karoake, alcohol, and cigarettes. There are other laws you broke such as indecent exposure but of course that is subjective. What is not, was the patrons took their grits outside, its how I noticed you got in your car when clearly you should have called a taxi. If I were you and thankfully I am not, I would just attend another karaoke bar where I can complain that no likes your hidious singing. Oh by the way, stay off the phone when you are in your car, that is dangerous too! Todd you police a good bar and respectful to your customers offering great prices service and humor.

First of all, a couple friends and I just wanted to have a good time and sing some karaoke when we decided to go to Todd’s Karaoke Bar and Grille. When we first got there, it seemed like a great laid-back place with common people just singing and having a good time. As the night progressed and started to empty out for the soon closing bar, we happened to smell cigarette smoke. At first, we thought it was the breeze from the door, but as we looked around, the end of the bar had a group of women with lit cigarettes. I glimpsed at the front door to confirm there was no smoking, and of course, since in Lexington, there was no smoking allowed. I went down to the group and asked if they wouldn’t mind stepping outside or putting out their cigarettes, stating that there was a no smoking sign on the door. After telling me to “get out of here”, “there’s the door”, and other untasteful comments on their part, we closed our bar tab and I asked for the owner’s business card. The bartender pointed me to the other side of the bar and stated “well there he is” (who was actually the karaoke DJ). I walked up and told the owner, Todd I’m assuming, about the occurrence. While in the microphone, he began stating sly comments such as “well Tiger Woods with hookers is against the law….”, “Obama….”, “drunk driving…” and “speeding on New Circle…”, while still talking in the microphone. Of course, I called him out for “rallying the crowd” and that I just wanted to let him know that smoking was happening in his bar and I thought it was the right thing to do to report it. After a few words were spoken on the part of Todd, a woman from the smoking group, let’s call her Big Bertha, then started shoving me towards the door telling me it was time to go. I am, by no means, a physically strong woman so Big Bertha, no doubt, would kick my a** and I was scared, so I did what any other woman in my position would do, I called the Lexington Police Department. They said they would send someone out and as talking to the operator, the shoving was still happening so I scooted to the side, between tables, and sat at a booth seat to prevent being pushed out. As my friends were trying to get Big Bertha away from me, Todd got up in my face and had me against the back of the booth, yelling at me to “Leave already!”, “Get the F*** out a’here!”, etc. As my friends and a couple other men saw this happening, they began refraining the owner and telling him he could not do that. Soon after that, a couple officers arrived (after closing time by now) and told everyone they needed to leave and that it would be best for me just to go home now. Of course, I was hysterical about the threats and cornering so I wanted something done, but thanks to my friends, we walked away free, were given a ride home, and have nothing to do about what had happened.
I know that this will probably not prevent anyone from going to Todd’s but I think that what happened was not right and in no way necessary and that and everyone needs to know.

I had the wonderful opportunity of hanging at Todds on its 5th Anniversary. Had a great time. The bar was full and the singing was loud and fun. I even won a door prize. Happy B-day Todds, and I hope you have many many more.

On vacation looking for a spot to hang out with locals the old fashion way. This place did it for me better than other spots I scoped in Tennessee/Kentucky. Went in expecting a short stay. Spent the whole evenings with good conversion and plenty of suds. Hanging outside with the smokers was as fun as the inside Karaoke action. All ages and characters. Thumbs up!

Wow, see Ashlea's comment below! I concur! An occasional mullet only adds to the excitement of the karaoke sessions. Nobody ever sounds bad or feels ashamed. If only big labels from Nashville could stop in...

Your feet may stick to the floor...Your clothes may smell like grease....and people might be smoking in the bathroom when you go in...but damn it...I love this place.

I was there last Friday. My friend Josh was amazing when he sang "Rock you like a Hurricane". Anyone who didn't see it may have missed the greatest performance of all time.

I like singing at this wonderful karaoke bar. I'm pretty much a legend there.
